Gorey Community School Through To All-Ireland Final Which Takes Place In Croke Park

Gorey Community School continued their winning ways today…

After winning the Leinster ‘B’ Senior Football championship against Skerries Community College (Dublin) last week, they were then through to the All-Ireland semi-final stages.

That All-Ireland semi-final took place today (Saturday) against Galway and Connacht champions, Garbally College.

Gorey Community school emerged victorious in that All-Ireland semi-final clash, winning on a scoreline of 1-08 to 0-07 at the grounds of IT Carlow.

They will now be looking forward to an All-Ireland day out in Croke Park, something the whole community will be excited about.

In the All-Ireland Senior ‘B’ Football final which takes place in Croke Park, they’ll be facing Patrician High School, a post-primary school located in Carrickmacross, Monaghan.
