Watch Video: Was This Wexford Goal Wrongly Ruled Out?

Let’s be straight here. Wexford were hammered by Waterford in the Allianz Hurling League semi-final on Sunday…

And while it’s likely that we still would have been on the wrong end of a beating, questions marks remain over one moment in the game.

Wexford’s Rory O’Connor was through on goal in the first-half. Falling on the end-line directly beside the goal, he passed the ball into the square before it was pulled on into the net.

It looked like a goal for Wexford, but the linesman then waved it wide, resulting in a puck-out for Waterford. Winning the puck-out, Waterford then hit the ball over the bar.
