The final of Wexford’s Fittest School took place today…
The competition serves an important purpose. Ran by Wexford GAA, it helps to generate excitement in school communities and highlights the importance of fitness. In turn, the competition also acts as a fundraiser for the Wexford GAA Coaching Programme.
Over 30 Primary Schools took part in a battle to be the quickest around a gruelling obstacle course in Chadwicks Wexford Park on Wednesday and Thursday last week to see who would reach the grand final, which was held on Tuesday 10th May.
The final took place in Chadwicks Wexford Park today and the winner of Wexford’s Fittest School for 2022 has now been revealed after yet another gruelling obstacle.
Castlebridge NS have been crowned champions for 2022.
