The Wexford Senior hurlers will be playing in the Leinster Senior hurling championship this Saturday…
The match takes place at 6:30pm at TEG Cusack Park, Mullingar and Wexford Senior hurling manager Darragh Egan has named his side for the clash.
In the other dugout, planning Wexford’s downfall will be Wexford native Joe Fortune who manages the Westmeath Senior hurling team.
This weekend’s clash against Westmeath is of course a must-win game for the Wexford hurlers. Entering the game as strong favourites, Wexford will need the away win to cling to the hope that they can still qualify after the fifth round of matches.
One of the major talking points is the fact that Paul Morris has been handed his first start of the year, as he starts corner-forward for the upcoming clash.
Ferns St-Aidans club-man, Paul Morris, described by many Wexford fans as a player who is always good for a few scores, will be aiming to put in a good performance against Westmeath and to hold onto his place against Kilkenny in the final game.
Simply judging by the team he has named to take on Westmeath, it’s clear that Egan is not looking past this weekend’s game.
