Details Confirmed For Wexford Senior Hurling Fixture Vs Kerry

Wexford’s All-Ireland dream gets underway next weekend…

Their All-Ireland championship campaign will start with an away trip to the Kingdom of Kerry.

They’ll take on Kerry in Austin Stack Park, Tralee, Co Kerry.

As confirmed this afternoon by the GAA, the game is scheduled to throw-in at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 11th.

Kerry, who recently lost the Joe McDonagh Cup to Antrim, will be looking forward to welcoming Wexford, and they’ll fancy their chances after Westmeath came away with a result against the Yellowbellies earlier in this year’s championship.

Despite that, Darragh Egan’s side will be heavily tipped and will go into the game as strong favourites. A win for Wexford will see them play an All-Ireland quarter-final against Clare the following weekend.

Ticket information for the game has not yet been released to the public.
