Wexford Senior Hurlers To Take On Kilkenny Undelights At Wexford Park

This is something to look forward to…

Following a recent County Board meeting, Wexford GAA confirmed that the work on the floodlights at Wexford Park is underway and that the first game undelights will be a Saturday evening Walsh Cup game:

“Work on the groundworks for the floodlights is due to commence on 27 October 2022 with the floodlights expected to be erected in early December.”

“The first game under floodlights in Chadwicks Wexford Park will be a Walsh Cup game on 21 January 2023 and will include a host of significant events to mark the occasion.”

It has since been confirmed that the Walsh Cup game, which will take place under lights in Wexford Park, will be against the old enemy, Kilkenny, which is a quite fitting way to mark the occasion.
