A former Wexford Senior footballer has joined the coaching staff of the Wexford Senior Footballers…
Ciaran Deely, who was a long-serving member of the Wexford Senior football team, has joined the Wexford Senior Football backroom team.
He is a new addition to new manager, John Hegarty’s, backroom team, filling a coaching and performance role.
Speaking on the appointment, Deely stated:
“Delighted to be back with the Senior Football Team on the coaching & performance planning side after 12 years away from the team. There is some great work happening there with a top Manager in John Hegarty & a really great bunch of lads. Here’s to 2023.”
Deely has been previously involved with the London Senior Footballers as their manager. He was over London as manager for five years, before stepping down in 2019.
Other members of the Wexford Senior Football backroom team were also announced with Diarmuid O’Hanlon (Coach), Mick Casey (Coach), Joey O’Brien (S&C), Darren Siggins (Logistics Manager), Matt Pearson (Physio) and Arthur Dunne (Nutritionist).
