Watch: The Try Wexford’s Deeny Got On His First Start For Leinster This Evening

Leinster took on Connacht this evening in a New Year’s Day showdown at the RDS…

The game, which took place at the RDS Arena in Arena in Dublin, was also broadcasted live on RTE2.

People from Wexford had an extra-close eye on the game after it was revealed that Wexford native, Brian Deeny, would start for Leinster.

It was Deeny’s first start for Leinster.

The fact that he was in such good company, playing with the likes of Johnny Sexton, Gibson-Park, and Josh Van Der Flier, did not seem to deter him though.

On the 23rd minute mark, Wexford man Brian Deeny went over the line to score a try. He went down the blindside from the base of the ruck to score.

Deeny’s try can be viewed below:

It was great to see that Wexford’s Brian Deeny was on the winning side too, with the score finishing in favour of a dominant Leinster, 41-12.
