Piosa Craic i Pop up Gaeltacht in Kiltealy this Friday night

Cad e an sceal!

Cuir glaoch amach do gach duine a bhfuil suim acu i caint, no ag bhfloglaim Gaeilge!
Hello folks, this is just a call out to anyone interested in learning or speaking Irish.

Bowe’s ( The Thatch Bar) in Kiltealy will be hosting a Pop up Gaeltacht in the pub this Friday
night (and the last Friday of every month for the foreseeable future) at 8pm.
Everyone is invited up to the pub in the heart of the Blackstairs / na Straighri Dubha, no matter what their level of Irish.

The pub is cosy and the company was so welcoming and friendly, and very soon people were joking away as Gaeilge on the first night.

A big crowd turned out that night – and this Friday promises to be even better as people get more comfortable with each other and we also look forward to introducing ourselves to more new people.

It is a wonderful feeling to chat about all sorts of topics in our native tongue in this warm-hearted environment. The author of this article would really encourage people to come up to Kiltealy and join in the craic.

I myself have basic Irish, but it was fantastic to practise in such a lovely social scene and get laughs out of people with what I do have and what I’m learning.

The night is scheduled till last from 8pm to 9.30pm with some people staying on longer if they want to enjoy a drink and each other’s company.

Everyone is encourage to bring along a Traditional Irish instrument if they would like to play a tune!Feel free to join us, if the gra is there, the more, the merrier!

Taimid ag tnuthle tu a fheiceal de hAoine ar piosa Craic, caint, ceol agus ol.
