Change Of Time For Wexford Senior Hurling Clash Against Antrim In Leinster Championship

Wexford lost out to Galway in Salthill last weekend

While there were many talking points from the Galway game, the Leinster Championship does not allow teams to dwell on games as matches come thick and fast.

Wexford now turn their attention to hosting Antrim in Wexford Park next Saturday.

Originally, the Wexford vs Antrim game was meant to be played at 5pm.

Throw-in for the game will now be at 6pm.

It is believed that the reason for delaying throw-in is to allow for supporters to attend two games; the Wexford u-20 hurlers will take on Westmeath in Mullingar at 1pm.

After Antrim’s performance against Dublin whereby they came away with a point, they will be entering this game with a lot of confidence. This Wexford match is a game that they would have targeted since the start of the year too.

It’s a must-win for Wexford, and a big crowd is expected to be at Wexford Park next weekend to cheer on the Yellowbellies in Round 2 of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.
