Bookies release odds for outright winner of Wexford Senior Football Championship

Now that the Wexford Senior Hurling Championship is over and Naomh Eanna were crowned champions, it’s now time for the Wexford Senior Football Championship…

The major Irish bookmakers including PaddyPower and Boylesports have released their odds for the outright winner of the Wexford SFC.

They believe that the Shelmaliers are the strong favourites to lift the title. Meanwhile, the Sarsfields, who are without Lee Chin, are viewed as the team that could struggle to avoid relegation.

In our eyes, the Shelmaliers look the most solid on paper. But it will not be playing sailing for them – and if we were going for one team to pip them, you would find good odds with Kilanerin priced at 12/1.

Betting odds:

Shelmaliers 11/8

Castletown 9/4

Starlights 9/1

Kilanerin 12/1

Gusserane 12/1

St Annes 14/1

Glynn Barntown 14/1

Fethard 16/1

St James 16/1

Crossabeg Ballymurn 25/1

HWH Bunclody 33/1

Sarsfields 40/1
