Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary splashes big cash on Wexford property

The CEO of Ryanair has bought a property in Wexford…

Michael O’Leary, the CEO of Irish budget airline, Ryanair, has splashed the cash on a property in Wexford.

The property, which is based in Kilrane in Rosslare, is commonly known as the Four Winds.

The property went on to the market in 2022 with a guide price of €700,000.

The Irish Times have since reported that the Ryanair boss has splashed almost double the guide price on the property, spending €1.3 million.

As per the Irish Independent, the Four Winds was bought by the Presentation Sisters as a holiday home in 1946 at a time when the nuns lived in an enclosed convent.

Locally, it is believed that the Four Winds is a ‘haunted house’.

At the time of writing, it is unknown what O’Leary intends to do with the property which sits close to St Helen’s Bay Golf Club.
