A former Wexford Senior hurling manager is back in management…

It has been confirmed that former Wexford hurler and former Wexford Senior hurling manager, Liam Dunne, is back in management.

Liam Dunne will be taking charge of the Glenealy Senior Hurlers in the Wicklow Senior Hurling Championship for the 2024 season.

The appointment was confirmed yesterday evening following the club’s AGM. Dunne’s backroom team is still yet to be confirmed.

The Oulart The Ballagh has replaced Glenealy clubman Michael Anthony O’Neill as the new Glenealy boss.

Glenealy are one of the teams in the chasing pack trying to overthrow the dominant and successful Bray Emmets, who are also managed by a Wexford man – Paul Carley. Bray Emmets have won the last five Wicklow Senior hurling titles.
