Gorey restaurant handed provincial prize at Irish Restaurant Awards

A restaurant located in the heart of Gorey town won an award last night…

Raspberry Restaurant, located in Gorey’s main street in Co. Wexford, only opened up in July 2021.

Although they opened their doors less than three years ago, the restaurant has already received plaudits on a provincial basis.

At last night’s Irish Restaurant Awards which took place at the Lyrath Hotel in Kilkenny, Raspberry Restaurant and Cocktail bar were crowned Leinster winners in the ‘Innovator of the Year’ category.

Speaking after the win, restaurant owners and brothers Paraic Murphy and Rory Murphy said they always strive for customer satisfaction and thanked their loyal customers for the support:

“We are absolutely thrilled to be one of the Leinster winners of the Innovator of the Year award at the Irish Restaurant Awards last night. We always strive to bring our customers the best experience possible and work to improve the experience of our guests through hard work and innovation. Thank you to everyone for the nominations and to our team at Raspberry for all their dedication and hard work,” they said.
