Keith Rossiter names Wexford hurling team to face Cork this weekend

Keith Rossiter has named his Wexford Senior hurling team to face Cork this weekend…

Cork will travel to Wexford Park to take on Wexford on Saturday March 16th, while throw-in for the game is 3pm.

Rossiter has named an unchanged team to the one which defeated Waterford last weekend. However, two big additions have been placed onto the match-day panel. Naomh Eanna’s Conor McDonald returns to the squad along with St Annes attacker, Liam Og McGovern. Rossiter will be hopeful of getting these experienced players some game time, as the Leinster Championship approaches.

One big absentee is Lee Chin, who is not named on the panel.

Wexford team to face Cork:

Pat Ryan has also named his Cork team. Just as we predicted in an article about potential match ups earlier this week, Patrick Horgan and Darragh Fitzgibbon return to the team. Meanwhile, Alan Connolly has been moved to corner forward as predicted after netting a hat-trick of goals against Offaly in their last outing.

The strong Cork team can be seen here.
