Popular Irish‑Nigerian influencer and comedian Fabu‑D, widely known on social media as “Black Paddy”, made an entertaining and warm‑hearted visit to Enniscorthy in recent days….
He delighted locals and promoted the town by sharing a video of his interactions in Enniscorthy to his 600,000 Facebook and followers and his 700k TikTok followers.
In a short video posted on his Facebook page, Fabu‑D is seen touring the historic streets of Enniscorthy, exchanging banter and smiles with passers‑by, sampling local cuisine, and even enjoying a pint of Guinnness at popular pub, The White House Bar.
“What a great craic I had in Enniscorthy thanks for the welcome can’t wait visit Wexford town too,” he said, perhaps suggesting that he may make an appearance at the upcoming Fleadh Cheoil in Wexford.
The reaction from Enniscorthy residents has been joyful. Many locals commented online on how fun it was to see their town featured by someone as energetic and beloved.
Fabu‑D’s style resonates particularly with a younger demographic. The off-the-cuff humour, informal editing, and emphasis on local authenticity make Enniscorthy more than a historical stop. Instead, it’s framed as a lively and welcoming town worth browsing through.
