Betting odds for the Wexford Senior hurling preliminary quarter-finals

The preliminary quarter-finals for the Wexford Senior hurling championship get underway this evening…

Now that the group stages have concluded, there is a lot on the line for all remaining teams. In Group A, both Rathnure and St Annes have automatically advanced into the quarter-final stages, while from Group B, both St Martins and Faythe Harriers await the winners from the preliminary quarter-finals.

For Oylegate and Oulart, along with Glynn-Barntown and Crossabeg, their games are played off as preliminary quarter-finals but essentially they also act as a relegation semi-final. The winner advances into the semi-final stages, while the losers will play each other in a relegation final – a place where no team wants to be.
