Top scorers revealed from 2025 Wexford Senior Hurling Championship

St Martins emerged as Wexford Senior Hurling champions last weekend after they defeated Rathnure in the final…

It was an excellent championship with plenty of shocks along the way. Rathnure, who were just promoted the year previous from the Intermediate Championship, probably pulled off the biggest shock by going unbeaten and reaching the final for 2025.

For their clubs, multiple players stood up throughout the championship, staking their claim for a place on Keith Rossiter’s Wexford Senior hurling team as the new season approaches.

Wexford man Dan O’Regan (Stats_Dan) has followed the Wexford Senior hurling championship for the past number of years. Like previous years, he has again created a list of the top scorers from the Wexford Senior Hurling Championship for 2025.

It’s interesting to note that no St Martins player was named in the top 4 of the Championship overall top scorers, from play, or from placed balls, despite playing the most games and winning the championship.

Likewise, Oulart’s Simon Roche maintained the top spot of the ‘top scorer’ from play despite only reaching the quarter-final stages and playing two games less.
