Wexford retail business nominated for prestigious award at London’s Globe

A Wexford lingerie boutique is once again making headlines, after being nominated for a prestigious industry award that celebrates the very best in intimate apparel…

Linnoco, owned by Sasha Kelly, is located on North Main Street in Wexford town. It has been shortlisted for the Stars Underlines Best Shop Awards, an annual event known as the “Oscars of the Lingerie Industry.”

The awards, organised by Underlines Magazine, recognise excellence and innovation among retailers in the UK and Ireland’s lingerie, swimwear, and legwear sectors. This year’s ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 6th, at the stunning Underglobe at Shakespeare’s Globe in London.

The team at Linnoco say they are “honoured to be nominated for these awards again this year,” after previously being shortlisted for Best Newcomer in 2024.

“It’s not a bad achievement for our little pink shop based in Wexford town and one we would love people to know about,” owner Sasha told Wexford Weekly.

Since opening their doors in 2023, Linnoco has become a staple of Wexford’s Main Street.

Originally founded as a mastectomy and post-surgery specialist, the business quickly expanded its offering to meet growing local demand for a professional bra fitting service in the South East — a need they discovered during the first lockdown.

“Like any small business, it’s so important to highlight the good we do. Here in Linnoco we cater for all ladies, providing them with a professional, friendly service — fitting them for bras plus much more,” she told Wexford Weekly.

The latest nomination is a testament to the shop’s commitment to quality, inclusivity, and personal service — values that have helped Linnoco build a loyal following in Wexford and beyond.

As they prepare to represent Wexford on a London stage next week, the Linnoco team can already take pride in being counted among the best in their industry.
