Davy Fitzgerald Adds Clare All-Ireland Winner To His Wexford Backroom Team

Davy Fitzgerald has added a former Clare veteran to his backroom team…

Fitzgerald, who will remain as Wexford Senior Hurling manager for another two seasons, has brought in an All-Ireland winner from Clare into his backroom team.

Although initial reports suggested that Pauric Fanning would rejoin Davy Fitzgerald, it was confirmed at this evening’s Wexford GAA County Board Meeting that Brendan Bugler will instead take up a role in Fitzgerald’s backroom team as a selector.

Bugler, who won an All-Ireland under Fitzgerald in 2013, will join Seoirse Bulfin, Keith Rossitter and JJ Doyle in the selection process.

In other news, Wexford have appointed Paul Carley as the new Wexford minor hurling manager, while former Wexford footballer David Murphy will take the reigns of the Wexford minor footballers.
