Wexford Youths Have Won The FAI 2019 Women’s Cup Final

It’s great news for followers of Wexford Youths…

Wexford Youths have defeated Peamount United at the Aviva Stadium in the FAI Women’s Cup Final.

The Wexford side overcame the South Dublin side today, with the game finishing 3-2.

Lauren Kelly, who was named the player of the match, scored two goals for the Wexford side, while skipper Kylie Murphy also found the net for the Youths.

With the women’s win today, the cup will remain in Wexford and with the defending champions for another year.

The game was played as the curtain raiser for the FAI men’s final, which takes place between Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk.
