Under The Radar: Galvin Shrewdly Appointed Former Team-Mate As Wexford Physio

This appointment went somewhat under the radar…

But, Paul Galvin’s shrewd appointment of a former Kerry team-mate has to be applauded.

Galvin brought in former team-mate and three-time All-Ireland winner Donnchadh Walsh.

Walsh, who regularly featured in the half-forward line of a Golden Kerry Generation, has been working quietly in Galvin’s background in the Wexford Senior Football camp, as the team’s physiotherapist.

Walsh’s inter-county career lasted over eleven years, retiring as recently as 2018. With an array of knowledge and experience from playing at the top-level, this has to be considered a shrewd appointment by Galvin, as Walsh is sure to provide another unique insight.
