The virus has brought out the absolute best of the GAA community…
Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has praised the GAA communities across the land for their trojan work since the virus emerged in Ireland.
The GAA, along with other community groups and clubs, have been central in checking in on elders cocooning, doing shopping runs, medication runs, and just supporting the community in every way possible.
Speaking in Croke Park, Varadkar thanked those who have helped, and continue to help during these unprecedented ‘once in a generation’ times:
