Gardai Appealing For Witnesses After Man (70s) Dies Following New Ross Crash

A man tragically lost his life today in a road traffic accident…

Gardai in New Ross are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 70s lost his life after the tractor he was driving overturned.

The incident occurred at Ballinabanogue, New Ross, Co. Wexford around 10.15am this morning .

The male driver was the sole occupant of the tractor and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem is due to take place.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and to contact New Ross Garda Station on (051) 426 030, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
