Gorey Too Good For Gutsy Glynn-Barntown Side

Naomh Eanna were just too good for Glynn-Barntown this morning..

Full time:

Naomh Eanna 3-11
Glynn-Barntown 0-15

Naomh Eanna Gorey have been crowned u-17 Wexford Premier hurling champions for 2020. It marks a very successful end to their Coiste na nOg journey; moving up along the ranks, this same Naomh Eanna group of players won the u-14, u15, and now the u-17 Premier hurling championships.

Naomh Eanna’s sharp-shooter JJ Twamley finished this morning’s game with a tally of 2-03, with all of his scores coming from play.

Gorey’s full-back Cian O’Tuama starred in defence, while Jack Higgins was also dominant in attack for the Gorey town side.

Darragh Carley, Ferdia Reynolds, and Michael Mackey were three stand-out players for a gutsy Glynn-Barntown side that fought right to the end.

Glynn-Barntown will be out for revenge next weekend as the two sides will meet again in the Wexford Premier u-17 football final.
