Covid-19 Outbreak In Wexford Nursing Home

There has been a Covid-19 outbreak in a North Wexford Nursing Home…

Both staff and residents of Middletown House Nursing Home and Residential Village in county Wexford have had positive Covid-19 results returned recently.

Wexford Weekly has contacted the director of the Nursing Home for further comment about their handling of the unfolding situation.

Again, we must stress the importance that we do not stigmatise when people in nursing homes, schools, or businesses test positive for Coronavirus. These are challenging times for everyone and nobody wants to get the virus.

To minimise the risk of Covid-19 spreading across the community, we must go back to basics: wash your hands, social distance, wear your mask, sanitise.

We would like to wish a speedy recovery to those affected.
