Wexford Native Gets The Wexford Senior Football Job

A Wexford native will be the new Wexford Senior Football manager..

Wexford native Shane Roche will be continuing in his role as Wexford Senior Football manager for two seasons:

“Wexford GAA are delighted to confirm that Shane Roche will be proposed for ratification as Senior Football Manager for a two-year term at January’s County Board meeting,” a statement from Wexford GAA reads..

Wexford GAA made the announcement today via their social media platforms.

The Wexford native will also be bringing in two Wexford natives to his backroom team. Both Anthony Masterson and Philip Wallace will join Roche with the Wexford Senior Footballers.

Roche, who enjoyed a footballing career with the Model County, stepped into the role on an interim basis after Kerry legend Paul Galvin left the role due to family, time, and business commitments.
