Gardai Appeal For Witnesses After Knife Produced At Burglary In Wexford Village

Gardai in Gorey made an appeal for witnesses yesterday..

Gardaí in Gorey appealed for witnesses in relation to an Aggravated Burglary which occurred in Camolin on Sunday 21st February 2021 at approximately 8:30 p.m.

A knife was produced by one man at the scene of the burglary. Additionally, a small quantity of cash and belongings were taken by the three masked men.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

Gardaí are eager to speak with road users including motorists, cyclists and pedestrians who were in the Camolin area between 8pm and 9pm and who may have camera footage, which may include dash cam footage.

“In particular, we are seeking information from anyone who may have noticed a silver/green Ford Mondeo car in the area,” the Garda statement reads.
