Wexford GAA will honour Wexford’s healthcare workers with a new jersey…

Wexford GAA will be honouring healthcare workers with the release of their new training jersey. The new Wexford GAA training jersey will weave names of Wexford healthcare workers into the design of the new jersey.
It is a unique idea and it is a classy touch to our brilliant healthcare professionals who have been doing trojan work, and particularly since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Wexford GAA have called on health-care workers across Wexford to fill in a short form. The individual interested in getting their name on the jersey must write their name, their place of work, and they also must provide consent on the form.
“The 2021 heroes are the Wexford health-care workers who during Covid-19 have continued to provide care for patients despite exhaustion, personal risk of infection, fear of transmission to family members, illness or death of friends and colleagues, and the loss of many patients.”
“To honour our Healthcare workers, we will print the names of those who wish to be included on specially designed training jerseys of our senior hurling & football teams,” Wexford GAA said.
Last year, in 2020, Wexford GAA released some beautiful training jerseys and it looks like 2021 will see a similar trend.
Perhaps, the concept was inspired by the release of the new Limerick GAA jersey, which has intertwined all of the Limerick GAA clubs into their new jersey.
