Wexford’s 2021 Allianz National Hurling League Fixtures Confirmed

The GAA will be back in a few weeks and it’s safe to say we are looking forward to it..

The GAA have confirmed the fixtures for the upcoming 2021 Allianz National Hurling and Football Leagues.

Wexford’s fixtures have been released and there’s plenty to look forward to. Up first for the Yellowbellies will be Laois, the team that Wexford have also been drawn against in the quarter-final of the Leinster Hurling Championship. Games against Clare, Kilkenny, Antrim and Dublin will follow.

Allianz Hurling League 2021:

Round 1: Wexford v Laois, 9th May, Wexford Park, at 1:45pm.

Round 2: Clare v Wexford, 16th May, Cusack Park, at 1:00pm.

Round 3: Kilkenny v Wexford, 23rd May, Nowlan Park, at 2:00pm.

Round 4: Antrim v Wexford, 5th June, Corrigan Park, at 3:00pm.

Round 5: Wexford v Dublin, 12th June, Wexford Park, at 3:00pm.

Notably, there will be no Division 1 Hurling League quarter-finals, semi-finals or final played. There will either be joint winners for 2021, or if the teams that win Div 1A and Div 1B meet in the Championship, this will double as a League Final and it the winner will be decided then.

Meanwhile, Wexford’s fixtures for a shortened Allianz Football League have also been confirmed.
