Damaged Defibrillator In Wexford Described As An “Act Of Vandalism”

A defibrillator has been damaged in Wexford.

A defibrillator has been damaged in the Newbawn area of County Wexford.

“Due to vandalism the defibrillator in the community sports ground is no longer working,” a member from the Newbawn community group stated in a Facebook post issued on Friday morning.

The community group are now looking to replace it as soon as possible, and fundraising activities are currently underway.

Vandalism should never happen, but this type of vandalism is particularly chilling after watching the chilling events of Christian Eriksen at the Euros unfold on our screens just recently.

The Newbawn community group has been proactive and has since organised a PayPal fundraiser. To donate, check out their PayPal here.
