The Wexford Junior Camogie have been crowned champions today. Wexford were crowned Division 3 League winners following a 0-13 to 1-08 win over Armagh.

Speaking after the game, center-back and player of the match Aideen Brennan highlighted how it was a “tough battle and that they were under no allusion” heading into the game, despite already defeating Armagh already in the League.

We kept calm, the management had belief in us that if we went out and played our own game, we’d be able to pull through and that’s what we were able to do. Coming here today, we knew there was nothing that would stop us winning and we’re delighted to bring back a bit of silverware to Wexford,” Brennan said.
