The 1st of September is a date that brings back many happy memories for many Wexford individuals..
On this day, 1996, Wexford were crowned All-Ireland Senior hurling champions after they defeated Limerick in Croke Park.
Today, 1st September 2021, marks the 25th year since that famous win.
To mark the jubilee occasion, both The Hurling Podcast and A Hurler’s Life have released a special Wexford 1996 podcast and both podcasts are available to listen to below.
