Sydney Swans player Barry O’Connor returned to Ireland recently…

Barry’s return home to Wexford in Ireland was an emotional one. Due to Covid-19, Barry could not return home to Ireland to see his family, friends, and loved ones since his arrival in Australia two years ago in 2019.

O’Connor, who is the son of 1996 All-Ireland winner George O’Connor, plays professional Aussie Rules with Sydney Swans. Although he is yet to make his debut, he has made steady improvements down under.

The events, which all were a surprise to his family back in Wexford, were all captured on camera and it was a beautiful moment to say the least.
