Wexford Native Called Up To FAI Senior Squad For Upcoming Game

A Wexford native has been called up to the FAI Senior women’s panel for their upcoming game…

The Irish Senior women will take on Australia on Tuesday, 21st September.

Wexford will be represented on the day after attacker Rianna Jarrett has been called up to the squad.

The squad will meet up on Tuesday, September 14th to begin preparations at the FAI National Training Centre.

The game, which is an International Friendly, will take place at Tallagh Stadium and hopefully, it’ll provide an opportunity for Jarrett to showcase her talent on a wider-scale as the game will also be broadcasted live on RTE2.

Jarrett currently plays her football with the London City Lionesses. The London City Lionesses were founded in June 2019, and are a fully professional women’s football club, based at Princes Park Stadium, Dartford.
