Ice-Skating Is Returning To Wexford — And It’s Coming Back Soon

The nights are getting shorter and it won’t be long now until we’re into those cold Winter months…

Some things that people look forward to at this time of the year is putting on their big coats, lighting the fire, and drinking hot chocolate while watching some movies. Another thing that a lot of people look forward to during the Winter months though is some ice-skating.

Wexford On Ice, which takes place on Wexford’s Quay in the town, will be returning to Wexford this year.

It won’t be long until it comes around again either, as it is due to return from November 27th to January 5th.

The delighted organisers stated that they “are super excited to have us all back” after they could not operate last year due to Covid-19.

Sensory and wheelchair family skate sessions will also take place every Saturday morning from 9am – 10am.  These sessions give those who wouldn’t normally get the chance to go skating to have their very own special session, where the music and lighting is turned down.  It’s fun for all the family to get involved – parents and guardians can join their children without skates and wheelchair users can take their wheels directly onto the ice!

Tickets go on sale Thursday, 30th of September.

Prices start at €15 per adult, €13 for a child (12 years and under), €13 for a family of three, or €48 for a family of four. Tickets can be purchased from https://wexfordonice.com.
