New Wexford Senior Hurling Manager Darragh Egan Confirms His Backroom Team

Following Davy Fitzgerald’s five year tenure as Wexford Senior hurling manager, Darragh Egan became the new man in charge…

Speculation mounted about who he would draft into his backroom team.

Following a Wexford GAA County Board meeting this evening, the new backroom team has been confirmed.

Willie Cleary, who stepped away from the Naomh Eanna Senior team this year, has been drafted in as a selector. Cleary will join former Dublin hurler Niall Corcoran as a selector, who was involved with Davy Fitzgerald’s set-up last year.

Interestingly, proud Wexford native and internationally recognised boxing coach Billy Walsh will also have a part to play in the backroom team.

Graham Byrne will lead the Strength and Conditioning team for the upcoming season.
