The Wexford Senior Football final took place today at Chadwicks Wexford Park…
Both the Shelamliers and Gusserane competed in the highly-anticipated Wexford Senior Football final.
After the Shelmaliers were crowned champions today, no doubt they’ll enjoy the celebrations.
Attention will soon turn to the All-Ireland and Leinster Club Football Championship.
As per the Leinster GAA’s official website, the new Wexford champions are due to take on the either the Louth/Carlow champions in the Leinster club football quarter-final.
The Louth champions (Naomh Mairtin) will battle it out against the Carlow champions (Rathvilly) next Sunday, November 21st, and the winner of that clash will take on the Shels in the Leinster Club Senior Football quarter-final.
This quarter-final clash will be an away clash for the Wexford champions, and it’s due to take place on December 5th at 1pm.
A win for the Shelmaliers will see them play the Leinster club football semi-final double-header set for the GAA’s headquarters, Croke Park, Dublin.
