A young Wexford man is set to appear on First Dates Ireland…
Wexford native Cian Fitzgerald Byrne will appear on RTE’s show ‘First Dates Ireland’ at the start of February 2022.
It’s not the first time that Cian has made his way onto the national airwaves.
Previously, Cian had starred on RTE’s show ‘Pulling With My Parents’ last January.
Just over one year on from his appearance on that show, Cian is now once again looking for love as he tests his luck on RTE’s hit show, First Dates Ireland.
Cian is due to appear on the hit RTÉ show on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022, with the pre-recorded show airing at 9:30 pm on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
On the show, Cian will be dating a bubbly eighteen-year-old from Limerick, Ellie, who has struggled to “find a fella” during her teenage years.
On First Dates Ireland, single people from across Ireland go to the First Dates restaurant at the Gibson Hotel in Dublin and partake in a blind date.
“I went on First Dates Ireland because I think it’s a great and fun show. I also think that it’s a great experience. I’m really looking forward to it,” Cian said to Wexford Weekly.
Before his appearance on RTE’s Pulling With My Parents, Cian gained notoriety for his role as DJ Ciano. Cian, who is just 20 years old, has built up a large following across his social media channels and regularly goes ‘live’ on his channels to entertain his followers.
During the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, DJ Ciano started DJ’ing from his parent’s shed at home in Camolin and since then, his popularity has exponentially risen across the local community and beyond.
The episode of First Dates Ireland, now in its seventh season, will also include an array of others who are out searching for love on the show.

royal treat in the form of reigning Miss Cork, Zoe (25).
Like a scene from DH Lawrence novel, old-time romantic Jay (28) from Donegal rescues
Alan (28) from the wily windy moors of Monaghan.
Claws out, Hayley (31) from Cork comes to the restaurant looking for her lobster and finds
signmaker Evan (33), also from Cork, but is he giving out the right signals?
