The Guinness Guru recently travelled to Wexford…
From Meath, Daragh Curran, also known online as “The Guinness Guru”, has been travelling around the country and beyond, testing out pints of the black stuff.
His honest and critical reviews of Guinness have seen his online presence go from strength to strength. Now, with over 39k followers on his YouTube channel, the Guinness Guru decided to take the plunge and head to Wexford.
He paid a visit to Wexford town and stopped in six Wexford town pubs, rating each pint of Guinness. He stopped into The Pike Bar, Bugler Doyles, Macken’s (The Undertaker), Jim McGees, Culleton’s, and then he finished up at the Sky and the Ground.
As usual, when he travels to the pubs, he orders a pint of Guinness and then gives the pint a rating out of ten.
The Wexford town based pubs made a good showing for themselves overall; The Undertaker received an 8/10 vote, Jim Mc Gees scored the same with another 8/10 vote, Bugler Doyles scored 7.8, while the The Sky and the Ground scored slightly higher and received 7.9.
Both Culleton’s and The Pike Bar could not be separated on the vote. They scored the highest with 8.4/10 rating, and according to The Guinness Guru, they are the best places to grab a pint of Guinness in Wexford town.
