The Wexford Senior Footballers had a brilliant win today…
Shane Roche’s Wexford Senior footballers defeated Offaly on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-12 in the Leinster Senior Football Championship.
Wexford entered the game as huge outsiders, and tipped in most major bookmakers at 5/1, despite being at home to Offaly.
Their win today has set up a mouth-watering tie against Dublin, which will take place in Chadwicks Wexford Park next weekend.
The game, which will also be broadcast live on SkySports Arena, will likely draw one of the biggest crowds for the Wexford footballers in a long time.
It takes place next Saturday, 30th April, at 6:30pm.
