Wexford Win Over Offaly Sees Lucky Punter Win Over €12,000 On Accumulator

A lucky punter won over €12,000 on the weekend…

The lucky punter placed a €100 bet on a GAA accumulator over the weekend.

The punter, who is from County Limerick, had four teams in a five-fold accumulator.

The teams included Galway (vs Mayo), Wicklow (vs Laois), Donegal (vs Armagh), Clare (vs Tipperary), and then Wexford, who were priced at 5/1 in some bookmakers, to defeat Offaly in the Leinster Senior Football Championship.

With three wins already up, the punter decided to cash out in-play for a nice 12,486.75.

The unnamed but lucky punter won the bet on BoyleSports, via their online account.

Sarah Kinsella, a spokesperson for BoyleSports said:

“This was a stunning handful of selections from one of our Limerick customers and hats off to them for deciding to cash out early for €12,468.75.

“However, we can’t help but feel for the punter because if they didn’t cash out then €20,500 would have been pocketed instead. Regardless, it’s a massive win and we wish our customer happy spending.”

There’s someone living in Limerick owing Wexford’s Ben Brosnan a pint after his magical performance against Offaly, where he scored 1-08!

After Wexford’s win against Offaly, their attention now turns to welcoming Dublin to Chadwicks Wexford Park, which will take place next Saturday evening.
