Wexford Man Wins Medal At European Championships

A Wexford man won a European medal today…

Billy Winters from Wexford, who is part of the Team Ireland squad, picked up a medal at the European Taekwondo Championships on Sunday morning.

The event took place in Porec, Croatia, this morning.

Winters trains under Master Patrick O’Rourke and he picked up a 3rd place bronze medal at the European Taekwondo Championships.

The ‘ITA – Irish Taekwon-Do Association’ have already expressed their congratulations to Winters on such a fantastic achievement.
