Wexford To Play Runners-Up Of Today’s Joe McDonagh Final

The Joe McDonagh Cup final takes place today…

The Wexford Senior hurlers and Wexford hurling supporters will have a close eye on today’s game.

Both Kerry and Antrim will battle it out for silverware and for a place in the preliminary All-Ireland quarter-final against Wexford.

Antrim are 1/3 favourites in most major bookmakers. The match (4:30pm) will act as a curtain-raiser for the Leisnter Senior hurling final between Kilkenny and Galway (7pm), both which will be broadcasted live on RTÉ2.

Should Wexford attain the win against the Joe McDonagh runners-up, an All-Ireland quarter-final against the Munster finalists runners-up await them.

Both Clare and Limerick will compete in the Munster final on Sunday and Wexford hurling fans will be paying close attention to that game too.
