Chin Unsure If He Can Commit To Playing With Sarsfields In Wexford Senior Football Championship

Lee Chin may not play with the Sarsfields in the Wexford SFC this year…

After Faythe Harriers lost out to the Rapparees in the Wexford Senior Hurling championship over the Bank Holiday Weekend, many of their panel will now set their sights on the Wexford Senior Football Championship.

Speaking at the launch of Budweiser as the official beer of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, Wexford’s Lee Chin noted that he may not play with the Sarsfields in the upcoming Wexford Senior Football Championship.

“For the next couple of weeks ahead,” Chin says, “I’ll see what way I am in terms of my injuries and stuff. Will I play football this year? I’m not quite sure.

“But it’s just something I feel I need to do selfishly for myself, because of the serious injuries I had during the year, to maybe give my body a bit of time to recover before I get back into the season with Wexford next year,” he stated.

Chin’s loss could prove damaging to the Sarsfields should he not decide to commit to their plans for the Wexford Senior Football Championship. He is one of – if not the – leading figures in the team and has been for the past several seasons.

Budweiser is the official beer of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic this August. The Northwestern Wildcats will take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.
