Tom Dempsey Makes Prediction For Wexford Senior Hurling Final

Former Wexford GAA hurler Tom Dempsey has made his prediction ahead of Sunday’s decider…

The Wexford Senior hurling championship final takes place this Sunday at Chadwicks Wexford Park. Both Ferns-St Aidans and St Martins will battle it out for silverware.

Speaking on this week’s episode of The Hurling Podcast, Tom Dempsey stated:

“I’ve probably earned the reputation for the worst tipster in the world…”

“I don’t think we’ll see Jack or Rory (O’Connor) playing a major part. Maybe Jack could play, I don’t know.”

“In short, I think the loss of these guys is going to tell at some point.”

“I think Ferns are a very seasoned team and they look awful like a team that their name is on the cup. From that point of view, I’m going to give a slight nod – and I think Ferns are going to just about do it for their first time in their history,” he stated.

The bookies have released their odds for the final too and they’re also slightly fancying Ferns to lift the trophy.
