Gorey woman appeals for information after car was robbed

A Wexford woman is appealing for information…

Gorey native, Hope Buckley, has appealed to anyone who may have information to come forward.

That is after her Mazda Demio car was stolen recently. The robbery took place on Friday (02/09/22) night, sometime between the hours of 1:00am and 4:00am.

The car was stolen from the Etchingham Heights estate in Riverchapel, Wexford.

After the car was stolen, the car was set alight and burnt out. The car was later found in the vicinity of the Burrow area of Courtown area, less than 3km from the property,

It is quite a traumatic event; to think that this is happening in our community, for no reason, highlights how something like this can happen to any of us at any given time.

Anyone with additional information should contact Gorey Garda Station on 053 94 30690.
