John Hegarty Names Wexford Side To Take On Westmeath In O’Byrne Cup

The Wexford Senior Footballers are back in action tomorrow…

The new Wexford Senior Football manager, John Hegarty, has named his side for the next O’Byrne Cup clash.

After their 0-11-1-18 loss to Kildare in the opening round, Hegarty’s side will be hoping to bounce back in round 2.

Wexford will then take on Westmeath away in Round 2, pencilled in to take place on Sat Jan 7th, The Downs GAA Club, 2pm.

For those who cannot attend the game, the Clubber website has a package available to allow fans to watch all of the pre-season January Leinster GAA action for €39.99. It will cost €11.99 to stream a single match in the Walsh Cup or the O’Byrne Cup.

Tickets for the game must be online and in advance of the game.

In the third round, Wexford will play Louth at home on Wed Jan 11th, Hollymount, 8pm.
