Man who died in Enniscorthy stabbing named locally

A shocking fatal stabbing occurred in Enniscorthy on Thursday night…

The man who died has been named locally as 45-year-old Michal Gladyszewsk.

He was attacked in the downstairs area of his own house in Westbury Woods, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.

Gladyszewsk was a Polish national living in Enniscorthy, and he was married just last year in September, 2022.

As per the official Garda statement on the matter, a Family Liaison Officer (FLO) has been appointed and will keep the family informed of this investigation.

A 20-year-old suspect was arrested and detained at Enniscorthy Garda Station.

A spokesperson for Enniscorthy Gardaí said:

“Gardaí are seeking anyone who may have CCTV, mobile phone footage or dashcam footage, from the area to make contact.”
