A Wexford GAA County Board meeting took place last night…
The main talking point from the meeting was the ratification of the new Wexford Senior hurling manager, Keith Rossiter.
Rossiter has been the u-20 Wexford hurling manager for the previous two seasons. Though he did not taste success with the u-20 team, he did guide them to a place in the Leinster final in successive seasons.
He will now replace Darragh Egan, who was not handed a contract extension after his two-year tenure with the Model County.
At the County Board meeting which took place on 9 August 2023., Rossiter’s backroom team was revealed.
It will include David Franks (Lead Coach), Éanna Martin (Assistant Coach), Damien Fitzhenry (Goalkeeping Coach) and former Oulart The Ballagh manager, Frank Flannery, as skills coach.
It was also noted that additional members of the backroom team will be announced at the next Wexford GAA meeting.
